Roy Johnson was born on August 5th 1896. He farmed and was also employed by the Iowa Electric Power Co. for a time. He married Dorothy Neff in 1920, and the couple later went on to found The Holiday House restaurant. Roy and Dorothy had two children: Bill and Dorothy.
