Ada was the sister to Ray Herring. Ray and Margie Ethel (Carpenter) Herring were the parents of Betty, Harold and Skip. Carey Cox inherited the photo from his mother Betty Jean Herring Cox Martinez. Betty married Cornelius John William Cox of Cedar Rapids, IA. Divorced 20 years later and remarried Fernando Uri Martinez. My mother received the picture from her brother Harold (Bull) Herring of Mount Vernon, IA.
