Harry Kensinger (1888-1975) married Ethel York (1890-1990) (Daughter of Dr. Nathan & Tracy (Markle) York of Lisbon, IA). She was the Home Economics teacher for Mt. Vernon High School (1916-1917). After retiring from teaching in 1917, they moved to Stanford, Montana ranch. Their mission was to grow wheat and sheep for the WWI war effort. When WWI was over they moved back to Cedar Rapids, IA to raise their family. Mr. Kensinger established his own insurance sales company until he retired.
